  • Bioinorganic Chemistry.
  • Coordination Chemistry of transition metal ions: Cu(II), Ni(II), Zn(II) i VO(IV).
  • Determining the structure of transition metal ion complexes with biomolecules in  solution and in the solid phase.
  • Thermodynamic and spectroscopic studies of metallodrugs using different analytical techniques: electrochemistry, UV-Vis, EPR, circular dichroism, NMR, ESI MS, fluorymetry.
  • Conducting research in the field of biological chemistry of modified nucleosides, flavonoides and other natural or synthetic compounds and their metal complexes for use in medicine.
  • Research focusing on the coordination chemistry of novel antimicrobial, antifungal and antitumor agents.
